DAKSHINI R. SENANAYAKE:

Ms. Dakshini R. Senanayake is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of New York and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She has been practicing Immigration for over 20 years. In addition she is the Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in the State of Texas. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Houston Law Center, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Cum Laude from the University of Houston-Downtown, Texas. She has received her first law degree from Law College of Sri Lanka in 1983 and is also an Attorney admitted and enrolled to practice before the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. She has dedicated her practice exclusively to the area of immigration and nationality law and has vast experience in handling employment based business immigration and family based petitions. She is a recipient of the 2013 Empire State Counsel certification issued by the New York Bar Association for her generous pro bono contributions. She represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Labor (DOL) and Department of Homeland Security. (DHS). She is not certified by any Board of Legal specialization.
